THE REPAIR PROCESS
We follow a SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Technology) 5-step repair process.
The whole process takes approx. 1.5 hours per wheel, depending on damage.

Carefully raise the car to remove the wheel using precision point air jacks. Secure the car on 3 tonne jack stands and transfer the wheel to the mobile workshop.

Remove the damage in the mobile workshop using multiple specialist air-driven tools and ensuring the profile of the alloy wheel is retained in its original configuration. The surface is then prepped and prepared for spray painting.

Carefully match the manufacturer’s original wheel colour. Apply an etch primer, followed by the OEM colour and top coat (2K lacquer) to seal the wheel to its original finish.

The wheel is cured under an infrared light. This bakes the lacquer and paint to ensure a permanent repair finish is achieved.
The tyre pressure is checked and recorded.

Once the paint is dry the wheel is secured back on the car using the correct torque setting. Each wheel nut is triple checked.
The finished repair is discussed with the customer to ensure that they are 100%
satisfied with the quality of our work.

I trained as a professional wheel technician with a multi-national company and I am an expert in my field with years of experience and hundreds of satisfied customers. I have owned my own mobile wheel repair business since 2015. During this time I have repaired 1,000's of wheels from most makes of cars in the Reading, Basingstoke and Newbury areas.
